Dr. Patrick J. Chan, Dr. John A. Topinka and Dr. John H. Wilkins are all Board-certified Ophthalmologists and fellows of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Chan obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. He finished his specialty Ophthalmology (Eye M.D.) residency at the University Affiliated Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Chan specializes in general ophthalmology care with special expertise in strabismus or ocular motility (eye deviations). He is an anterior segment physician and surgeon with special emphasis on cataracts and intraocular lens implantation and glaucoma care.





Dr.Topinka obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. After completing his internal medicine residency at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed his specialty ophthalmology (Eye M.D.) residency at the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Topinka specializes in general ophthalmology with an emphasis on medical disease of the eye. He is an anterior segment physician and surgeon with emphasis on cataracts and intraocular lens implantation and glaucoma care.






Dr. Wilkins obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. He completed a general internal medicine residency at the Providence Portland Hospital and then completed his ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute in Portland. Dr. Wilkins then completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Uveitis at the Proctor Foundation at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Wilkins specializes in general ophthalmology care with special emphasis on systemic diseases and the eye and infectious and inflammatory eye disease. He is an anterior segment physician and surgeon with special emphasis on cornea and cataracts and intraocular lens implantation. He has an ongoing research project through the University of California at San Francisco in the use of antioxidant vitamins in the prevention of cataracts.

All of our doctors do laser surgeries for different ailments of the eye. Soon refractive surgery will be added to our armamentarium.
